EdgeMaster™ II Features - Automatically Selecting Stripper Rings

EdgeMaster II is capable of automatically selecting stripper rings based on the material type, knife, and/or material thickness.  When EdgeMaster II automatically selects the stripper rings, operators don't need to guess which stripper rings set should be used.  

To have EdgeMaster II automatically select the stripper rings for the setup, rules need to be defined for each range.  Defining ranges for stripper rings is simple.  Once the number of ranges are entered, the other values can then be entered.  Once the ranges are set, each mult size will match a predefined range and the stripper rings in that range will be used.  Below is a sample of three ranges.

Set 1: When the material thickness is between 0 and 0.078, red strippers will be used in the female part of the cut and blue strippers will be used in the male part of the cut.
Set 2: When the material thickness is between 0.079 and 0.125, green strippers will be used in the female part of the cut and blue strippers will be used in the male part of the cut.
Set 3: When the material thickness is between 0.126 and 0.250 and the 0.500 knife is used, the yellow strippers will be used in the female part of the cut and blue strippers will be used in the male part of the cut.
