Separator Plates

Separator Discs

Although often overlooked, separator discs can dramatically change the quality of a good slit edge that has been produced at the slitter head. ASKO's separator discs are manufactured from specially designed alloy steels and are custom heat treated and finished to provide the required wear characteristics. If a you are having a separator disc problem, ASKO's engineers can assist in designing a solution.

Separator Spacers

To meet specific requirements, separator spacers are generally manufactured from a variety of materials, including:

Micarta
Nylon
Polyurethane
Polyurethane bonded to steel

Separator Plates

Separator plates are mounted on the recoiler mandrel to separate the slit mults. ASKO separator plates:

Are available in hardened alloy steel
Can be chrome plated to reduce friction between the plate face and the slit edge
May be hardened and ground
