How to Select the right knife grade

ASKO Squaring Shear Knives are used in guillotine or flying-type shears for cutting to length or squaring up metal blanks. They operate at ambient temperatures and are used for shearing all gages and sizes of metal strips, sheets, or plates.

Grades

ASKO Squaring Shear Knives are available for popular model shears from stock in shock resisting and high carbon-high chrome grades. Special grades including particle metallurgy and tungsten carbide are available for difficult or unique shearing applications.

Designs

ASKO produces knives to mill builder designs, user modified designs, and in special situations can offer design advice for improved performance.
